Prayers

Just in case you are wondering, we are to pray every day; continually. Every breath we take is God breathing life into us. In the same manner, every prayer we say keeps that flow of communication going with our Creator who is the Sovereign Lord, the Most High God. We are to be a walking prayer of His Light every day. That is what we have been working together on for all these years through this Ministry; to get rid of the darkness in our lives and to get more and more clear and Light-filled so that when Jesus returns at that trumpet sound, we will ascend to Him. It has been a long journey when the answer was so simple right in front of us. The way to do that is to know Jesus and make Him your Lord and Savior and then spend time reading the Bible, praying and talking with The One who created everything.

When asked, Jesus told the disciples how to pray so this is how we should pray as well.

The Lord’s Prayer

So He said to them,

“When you pray, say:

My Father in Heaven,

Hallowed be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come.

Your Will be done.

On earth as it is in Heaven.

Give me day by day, my daily bread.

And forgive me my sins.

For I also forgive everyone who is indebted to me.

And do not lead me into temptation,

But deliver me from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever.

~ Luke 11:2-4

Psalm 91 is the strongest protection prayer in the Bible. It represents the safety of living in the Presence of God.

A couple of notes / suggestions about this prayer to give you more understanding and power when saying this prayer. Understanding always increases our power.

The words have been adjusted to make it more personal to you so you can speak these things over your life instead of reading it like it is happening to someone else.

Also, the first two lines are an explanation that in saying this prayer, you are under the protection of God Almighty. Most of the rest of the prayer is you speaking what you are expecting to happen. The final statement / paragraph is God speaking, confirming what He will do for you.

If you are having difficult time sleeping, you can place the Bible in your bedroom on a bedside table or dresser open to this prayer.

When you are speaking this prayer, listen to what you are saying. Really allow it to soak in and bless you. It is very powerful.

PSALM 91 (NLT)

“It is written:

He who lives in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.

For He will rescue me from every trap and protect me from deadly disease.

He will cover me with his feathers. He will shelter me with his wings. His faithful promises are my armor and protection.

I am not afraid of the terrors of the night, nor of the arrow that flies in the day.

I do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

Though a thousand fall at my side, though ten thousand are dying around me, these evils will not touch me.

I just open my eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.

Since I have made the Lord my refuge, and I have made the Most High my shelter,

10 no evil will conquer me; no plague will come near my home.

11 For He will order His angels to protect me wherever I go.

12 They will hold me up with their hands so I won’t even hurt my foot on a stone.

13 I will trample upon lions and cobras; I will crush fierce lions and serpents under my feet!

14 The Lord [God] says, “I will rescue [your name] because he/she loves Me.

I will protect him/her because he/she trusts in My Name.

15 When he/she calls on Me, I will answer;

I will be with him/her in trouble.

I will rescue and honor him/her.

16 I will reward him/her with a long life and give him/her My Salvation.”

The Whole Armor of God

“I am strong in the Sovereign Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Everyday, I put on all of God’s armor so that I will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For I am not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore, I put on every piece of God’s armor so I will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle I will still be standing firm. 14 I stand my ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, I put on the peace that comes from the Gospel so that I will be fully prepared. 16 In addition to all of these, I hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. 17 I put on salvation [in Jesus Christ] as my helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 I pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. I stay alert and I am persistent in my prayers for all believers everywhere. (Pray in tongues here for all believers.)

19 I ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Gospel is for everyone. (Pray in tongues here for yourself.) 20 I am preaching this message as God’s ambassador [a shepherd / a minister / a prophetic teacher / a healer, etc.]. And I pray that I will keep on speaking boldly for Him, as I should.  Amen + Amen!”

~Ephesians 6:10 – 20 NLT

PRAYER FOR SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST

Notes:

  1. For your children, grandchildren, family members, you might want to say it for each individual rather than saying each name in one prayer.
  2. We are commanded to pray for our leaders. So we can pray for Donald Trump and Mike Pence and Congress. If you live in another country, you would put your country’s leaders names in here.

No matter who we pray for, their soul may or may not accept the blessing we are asking for their lives. The acceptance or not is not our concern.

“Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins. I reject Satan and all his works. I confess You, Jesus are the Lord of my life. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of life. Thank You for saving me. I pray that my eyes, ears and heart always remain open to You, Jesus. Thank You for never giving up on me!

I pray for (husband/wife/love relationship) and his/her Salvation in Jesus Christ. Open his/her eyes, ears and heart to You, Jesus.

I pray for (children/grand-children, etc.) and his/her/their Salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that they know who you are Jesus, with their eyes, ears and hearts open to You. (See note 1)

I pray for Donald Trump and his Salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that his eyes, ears and heart are open to You, Jesus. I pray that he is making godly decisions about this country. (See note 2)

I pray for Donald Trump’s family and his and their advisors for their Salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that their eyes, ears and hearts are open to You, Jesus. I pray that they are making godly decisions about this country.

I pray for Mike Pence and his Salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that his eyes, ears and heart are open to You, Jesus. I pray they are making godly decisions about this country.

I pray for Mike Pence’s family and his and their advisors for their Salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that their eyes, ears and hearts are open to You, Jesus. I pray that they are making godly decisions about this country.

I pray for everyone in Congress for their Salvation in Jesus Christ. I pray that their eyes, ears and hearts are open to You, Jesus. I pray that they are making godly decisions about this country.

Thank You Jesus for hearing my prayers. Amen and Amen!”

If you are unsure of the power of these prayers, try this. Say the prayers once a day for seven days. Stop and see how your daily life goes on the eighth and ninth day. It will show you just how powerful these prayers are. And as always, ask Jesus to show you that this information is Truth. We must always discern for ourselves; not be blind followers.
