Psalm 91 ~ The Strongest Protection Prayer

Christina Uncategorized

I have been asked about what protection prayers are powerful to say so I am sharing one with you today. I was told by the Lord this was the strongest protection prayer. Psalm 91 in the Bible represents the safety of living in the Presence of God.

A couple of notes / suggestions about this prayer to give you more understanding and power when saying this prayer. Understanding always increases the power that flows through us.

I have changed the words to be more personal to you so you can speak these things over your life instead of reading it like it is happening to someone else.

Also, the first two lines are an explanation that in saying this prayer, you are under the protection of God Almighty. Most of the rest of the prayer is you speaking what you are expecting to happen. The final statement / paragraph is God speaking, confirming what He will do for you.

If you are having difficult time sleeping, you can place the Bible in your bedroom on a bedside table or dresser open to this prayer.

When you are speaking this prayer, listen to what you are saying. Really allow it to soak in and bless you. It is very powerful.

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.

4 He shall cover me with His feathers, and under His wings I shall take refuge;  His truth shall be my shield and buckler.

5 I shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come near me.

8 Only with my eyes shall I look, and see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because I have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, my dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.

12 In their hands they shall bear me up, lest I dash my foot against a stone.

13 I shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent I shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because she/he has set her/his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver her/him; I will set her/him on high, because she/he has known My name.

15 She/He shall call upon Me, and I will answer her/him; I will be with her/him in trouble; I will deliver her/him and honor her/him

16 With long life I will satisfy her/him, and show her/him My salvation.”
